Street Interviewer
Location: London
Pay: £15.00 per hour
We're looking for confident, friendly, and reliable Street Interviewers to engage with members of the public across London and conduct short interviews about a digital music product.
This is a customer-facing role that involves approaching people in busy public locations - buskers, street musicians, outside music concerts / festivals, asking structured questions, and accurately recording their reactions / responses to being shown music product solutions.
Your role is to get authentic product reactions and raise brand awareness
No selling is involved - your role is simply to gather honest feedback and insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Approach buskers and street musicians in busy public locations across London
- Explain the concept clearly and get people comfortable being filmed
- Ask a short set of questions before and after they hear their isolated stems
- Help capture authentic, in-the-moment reactions on a mobile device
- Represent the brand in a positive, professional, and easygoing manner
- Meet targets for completed interviews while keeping footage quality high
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Friendly, confident, and approachable on camera and off it
- Comfortable talking to strangers all day, including musicians who might be mid-set
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Happy working independently and outdoors across different parts of London
- An interest in music or musicians is a bonus, not essential
- Previous experience in street casting, market research, events, or content production is helpful but not essential
What We Offer
- £15.00 per hour
- Flexible working
- Training and ongoing support
- A dynamic role, different streets, different musicians.
- Real experience in content production and consumer research for a growing music app
If you enjoy meeting new people, can talk to anyone, and want a flexible role that's more interesting than the usual street survey job, we'd love to hear from you.
Application Process
Send us a short video (around 30–60 seconds) introducing yourself. Tell us you'd like to apply and share a bit about yourself, including any relevant experience or why this role appeals to you.
This isn't a test of presentation skills or video quality; it's simply a chance for us to see that you're confident and comfortable on camera, since this role is all about approaching and filming members of the public.
