Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Carpenter/Builder to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, extensions and renovating structures with precision and craftsmanship, working alongside a team. Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality projects across residential, commercial, or industrial sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse building projects, utilizing a wide range of skills from framing to finishing touches, all while maintaining safety and efficiency on site.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to execute construction tasks accurately
- Fabricate and assemble building components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, joinery, roofing, and finishing work with attention to detail
- Conduct masonry work such as bricklaying or stonework when required for structural or aesthetic purposes
- Install plumbing systems, electrical wiring, or other utilities in compliance with safety standards and codes
- Handle heavy lifting and material movement safely to ensure smooth workflow on site
- Apply construction painting techniques for interior or exterior surfaces to achieve desired finishes
- Assist with construction site setup, including site preparation and layout marking
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry, fabrication, assembly, or related construction roles
- Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and measuring devices
- Proficient with power tools including drills, saws, sanders, and grinders
- Knowledge of roofing techniques and materials for residential or commercial projects
- Familiarity with plumbing systems, electrical wiring basics, masonry work, and construction painting is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Prior experience working on diverse construction projects that require adaptability and problem-solving skills
