Job Vacancy - MOT Tester / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician
Due to ongoing expansion & ever increasing workload we are looking to recruit vehicle technicians to join our team in Exeter.
The job involves working within our After Sales Maintenance department. We are looking for technicians with the necessary experience to work within a team of technicians on a rotating shift basis.
The role will primarily focus on the Repair, Maintenance & Servicing of Light Commercial Vehicles (Vans & Small LGV) & conducting Class 4, 5 & 7 MOT Testing to DVSA Standards.
Early Shift Start 7am-3.30pm, Late Shift Start 10.30am-7pm.
Every other Saturday Morning 7am-12am, Paid at overtime rate.
The ideal candidate will be able to carry out a range of activities such as; preventative maintenance inspections, servicing, general maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on various makes of commercial vehicles.
Candidates who do not necessarily meet all of the above criteria but have an aptitude to learn new skills will still be considered. Light Vehicle Trained Technicians with a desire to learn the commercial trade will also be considered.
Plenty of overtime available if desired, all overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate.
Various training avenues available with Isuzu & Iveco trucks for successful Candidates.
Hourly Rate range dependant on suitability to the role.

Experience:
- Vehicle & Engine Maintenance & Repair Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- City & Guilds Automotive or IMI Qualification (preferred)
