We’re looking for friendly, energetic and reliable Bar & Floor Staff to join the team at Spirit Plymouth. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, meeting new people and being part of a lively nightlife team, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
As a Bar & Floor Staff member, you’ll play an important part in making sure our customers have a great night from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave.
The role will involve a mixture ofbar service and floor duties,including serving drinks, taking payments, collecting glasses, keeping customer areas clean and tidy, restocking, and supporting the wider team throughout the night.
You’ll be expected to provide friendly and efficient customer service, work well under pressure during busy periods, and help us maintain a welcoming, safe and enjoyable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve drinks quickly, accurately and responsibly
- Take payments and operate the till
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Collect glasses and keep tables and customer areas clear
- Maintain cleanliness across the venue throughout the night
- Restock bars, fridges and service areas when required
- Support with opening, closing and cleaning duties
- Follow Challenge 25, licensing requirements and venue procedures
- Communicate effectively with bar, floor, management and security teams
- Help create a fun, welcoming and energetic atmosphere for our guests

- Able to remain professional when dealing with customers
- Willing to get stuck in and help wherever needed
- Flexible availability, particularly for evenings, late nights and weekends
- Previous bar, hospitality or nightlife experience is a bonus, but not essential as training will be provided
