Clark Wood is working with a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Redditch who are seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Senior with UK practice experience to manage a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses, preparing accounts, supporting clients, and gaining exposure to wider advisory work within a friendly and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparing management accounts and VAT returns where required
- Acting as a key point of contact for a portfolio of SME and OMB clients
- Assisting clients with accounting software queries, particularly Xero
- Supporting managers with client assignments and advisory projects
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
- Experience preparing accounts for SME and owner-managed business clients
- Strong knowledge of Xero and cloud accounting software
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience will be considered
