Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated Cleaners to join our existing team of Cover Staff in supporting operations by maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. This role is key to ensuring we can respond to the needs of our clients at short notice, stepping in when called upon to provide reliable cleaning cover. You will help ensure a safe, tidy and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike, upholding our high standards of cleanliness always.
Responsibilities
* Carry out general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming of floors and surfaces*
* Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
* Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
* Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored correctly and in good condition
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning activities
* Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks to management
* Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security of premises
* Be ready and available at short notice when called upon to provide cover cleaning support
Requirements
* Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is desirable
* Strong attention to detail with commitment to high standards of cleanliness
* Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes.
* Good organisational skills and reliability
* Physical fitness to preform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
* Flexibility to work during scheduled hours, including early mornings or evenings if required
* A proactive attitude towards health and safety regulations
* Availability and willingness to respond at short notice when called upon
