Job Description:
As a Trainee Sign Installer, you’ll be working with our Foreman Sign Installer learning the safe and precise installation practices for large suspended illuminated signage to small vinyl graphics ensuring every job meets our high standards and client expectations. You will be required to travel to and from site. You will be required to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install internal and external signage on various surfaces and structures.
- Operate tools and equipment such as drills and access equipment (e.g., MEWPs, scaffolding).
- Read and interpret technical drawings and follow setting out documents
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Liaise with Rivermeade project managers and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sign installation or a related trade is preferred but not essential.
- Comfortable working at height and with power tools.
- Valid driver’s license essential.
- IPAF, PASMA and CSCS qualification desirable but not essential - training can be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, sometimes outside normal hours.
