Jonsigns Ltd is looking for a reliable and hardworking Sign Fitter’s Mate to join our Installations Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, travelling across the UK, and learning practical skills. Full support and ongoing training will be provided, with opportunities to progress within the company.

The Role
You will work alongside our Lead Sign Fitters assisting with the installation of a wide range of signage projects across the UK.
The role involves regular travel and overnight stays (Monday–Friday). Overnight allowance is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installation of internal and external signage
- Support the fitting of large format and freestanding signs
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Follow health & safety procedures at all times
- Assist with vehicle checks and van organisation
- Ensure sites are left clean and tidy
- Provide polite and professional interaction with clients on-site
- Be flexible with working hours, including occasional weekend work
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred but not essential – desirable due to travel)
- Willingness to work away from home during the week
- Good level of physical fitness (manual handling required)
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- CSCS Card
- IPAF or PASMA certification
- Previous experience in signage, construction, or a trade environment
(Training and support can be provided for the right candidate.)
