Hair Stylist – Employed Position – St Ives, Cambs

We are expanding our team and have introduced a new higher-earning pay structure designed for stylists who want to be rewarded for their skill and client care, not just their time. This is an employed role, not chair rent, offering stability, security, and the earning potential usually associated with self-employment.
You will earn 50% commission on all services, fully backed by our Standard Wage Guarantee for quieter periods. This structure is ideal for stylists who feel they’ve outgrown traditional salon pay.

About the Role
You will deliver high-quality hair services, with a particular passion for colouring using modern and innovative colouring techniques. You’ll build strong client relationships, maintain excellent service standards, and contribute positively to a friendly and professional salon atmosphere. This role suits stylists with an existing client base, or those confident in building one with full salon support.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Hairdressing (or equivalent)
- Strong cutting, colouring and styling skills
- Professional, reliable and client-focused attitude
- Ability to retain or grow a client base
- Positive, team-oriented approach
