Lighthouse Pharmacy is an independent, doctor-led community pharmacy investing in a modern, clinically led practice. The owner is a medical doctor and entrepreneur, which shapes how we think about clinical standards, mentorship and patient care. We have implemented hub-and-spoke dispensing to free pharmacist time for patient-facing services, and we are building our clinical service offer as community pharmacy prescribing expands.
The role
This role is designed for a newly qualified pharmacist registering in 2026 with independent prescriber status from day one. Your first pharmacist post, with the support to make it count.
You will:
- Act as responsible pharmacist and oversee safe, efficient dispensing
- Deliver NHS and private services including Pharmacy First, NMS and vaccinations
- Help shape and deliver our prescribing-led clinical services as local commissioning develops
- Support and develop the wider dispensary team

What we’re looking for
- GPhC registration (or due to register summer/autumn 2026)
- Independent prescriber annotation, or willingness to work towards it
- Strong patient communication and a genuine interest in clinical services
- Comfortable taking ownership in a small, supportive team
