Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 360 Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, for crushing, screening and munching works. Your expertise in mechanical systems and safe operation will ensure efficient project progress while maintaining a safe work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects with precision and confidence.
Duties
- Operate 360-degree excavators and other related heavy machinery safely and efficiently at Stansted Airport
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and site safety procedures
- Assist with site setup, including positioning machinery and preparing work areas for excavation activitie
Requirements
- Proven experience operating 360-degree excavators or similar heavy machinery in a construction environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic repairs
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Physical stamina to operate machinery for extended periods and perform manual tasks when necessary
The project is for 1 month, likely to be extended and will have the option to work on other ongoing projects.
