Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled General Builder to join our construction projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse residential building and refurbishment projects. You will be responsible for executing a wide range of construction tasks including foundations, brick laying, steel beams installation.
Responsibilities
- Perform general construction duties including foundations, brick laying, steel beams installation, etc. to ensure project specifications are met efficiently.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks such as framing, cutting, drilling, and finishing work.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, properly storing tools and materials for optimal efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry, or related construction trades is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for daily tasks.
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project plans accurately.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Valid relevant certifications or licenses related to construction trades are a plus but not mandatory.
Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
