Role description
Due to expansion, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our Quality Control team. This role would suit someone with a strong fabrication background who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.
Working closely with our QC team and production departments, you will carry out dimensional inspections of fabricated assemblies, verify compliance against engineering drawings and specifications, and support quality activities throughout the manufacturing process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out dimensional checks on fabricated components and assemblies.
- Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Identifying and reporting non-conformances.
- Supporting quality inspections throughout production.
- Liaising with production teams to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Assisting with inspection records and quality documentation.
What we're looking for:
- Time served Fabricator/ or Plater
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of fabrication tolerances and quality standards.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Previous QC inspection experience would be advantageous, but full training can be provided for the right candidate.
