Out of School Club Lead Practitioner (16 hours per week - Term time only)

Learning Curves Nursery Ltd, based at Aughton Christ Church CE Primary School, is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Out of School Club Lead Practitioner to lead our busy Breakfast and After School Clubs during school term time.
Our Breakfast club operates from 8.00am - 9.00am and our After School Club operates from 3.30pm - 5.30pm - an additional hour is included for non contact admin time.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with school-aged children and is ready to take the lead in creating a fun, safe and engaging environment before and after the school day.
Working alongside our management team, you'll be responsible for planning and organising the day-to-day running of the clubs, supporting and leading staff, and making sure our policies and procedures are followed to keep both children and staff safe.
Although our clubs are more relaxed than the school day, we are proud to work in partnership with Aughton Christ Church CE Primary School and expect the same high standards of behaviour, respect and kindness to be maintained at all times. You'll play a key role in ensuring children enjoy their time with us while continuing to follow the school's expectations and values.
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 3 childcare qualification (or above).
- Has experience working with school-aged children.
- Is confident leading a small team and supporting colleagues.
- Can build positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
- Is enthusiastic, organised and enjoys making every session fun, welcoming and well organised.
First Aid, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding training are desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
Starting date for this post will be 1st September 2026
