Apollo Recruit are looking for multiple Warehouse Operatives to work the Night Shift with our client on the outskirts of Exeter on a temp / temp to perm basis.
Shift Times:
- Sunday to Friday with a night off during the week, 6pm - 2am
- Sunday to Friday with a night off during the week, 8pm - 4am
Having your own transport is always essential as this company cannot be accessed by public transport.
Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour+ weekly performance bonuses
Job Description:
As a Night Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in operations by ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment and timely loading and unloading of vans. The majority of your responsibilities will involve picking and packing orders, making you an integral part of the team's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures.
- Use handheld scanners and other warehouse equipment to track inventory and manage order fulfillment.
- Ensure that all products are correctly labeled, packed, and ready for shipment.
- Participate in the loading and unloading of delivery vans and trucks, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Conduct routine quality checks to verify that all items meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and efficiency goals.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand and walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is a plus.
- Willingness to work the specified night shift hours
