Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV driver to join our waste management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the delivery and collection of skips
Duties include operating a skip hire vehicle, delivering and collecting in the Flintshire/Denbighshire/Wrexham/Wirral/Conwy areas.
Experience in skip loading vehicles would be preferable. Class 2, CPC and digicard is needed and must be willing to drive a variety of vehicles and adapt to the company’s needs.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transport.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all trips.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws while on the road.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Valid commercial driving license is essential.
