Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated cover staff (term-time, Tuesday to Friday) to join our childcare setting to provide flexible cover when needed. In this role, you will be delivering high-quality care and fostering a safe, nurturing environment for children.
Responsibilities
- Provide cover for staff during absences, ensuring continuity of care and activities for children.
- Support the delivery of engaging educational activities aligned with early childhood education principles.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that promotes children’s well-being and development.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a clear understanding of daily routines and needs.
- Assist with managing routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions
- Uphold health and safety standards by following childcare policies.
Requirements
- No experience needed. Training will be provided.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts to meet the needs of the setting.
- A positive attitude with a passion for nurturing young children’s growth and learning
