This role supports our busiest trading period of the year, helping us meet increased seasonal production demand.
Role Overview
We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Production Operator to join our team on a 3-month fixed-term contract to support seasonal production volumes. You'll play a key role in the filling, packing, and quality-checking of our pouch products, helping ensure orders are completed accurately and on time during our peak season.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate filling and packing equipment safely and efficiently, following standard operating procedures
- Carry out quality checks on packaging and product to ensure they meet required standards
- Pack finished products accurately for dispatch, including seasonal/gift items such as advent calendars
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with health & safety guidelines
- Report any equipment faults, quality issues, or stock shortages to your supervisor promptly
- Work efficiently as part of a small team to meet daily and weekly production targets
- Assist with general warehouse/production duties as required, including stock movement and basic housekeeping
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week across the contract period
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
- Comfortable with repetitive, hands-on tasks and standing for extended periods
- Good attention to detail, particularly for quality-checking tasks
- Able to follow instructions and standard procedures accurately
Desirable (not essential):
- Previous experience in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
- Experience working in food, drink, or FMCG production
- Basic understanding of health & safety practices in a production setting
Contract Details
- Duration: 3 months, fixed-term, to cover seasonal production demand
- Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week; days/shift pattern to be confirmed based on production schedule
- Pay: £12.71 per hour, paid monthly via PAYE
- Holiday: Statutory holiday entitlement accrued and paid pro-rata for the contract period
- Training: Full induction and on-the-job training provided — no prior experience with our specific equipment required
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week
