Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Watford Islamic Centre, Watford
Pay: £45 per hour
Job Type: Part-time, Full-time, Contract
Watford Islamic Centre is looking for a confident and reliable Maths Teacher to support students with high-quality tuition and learning support.
This role is suitable for someone who can teach clearly, build confidence in young people, and help students improve their understanding of Maths in a structured and engaging way.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver Maths lessons to students in a clear and engaging manner.
- Support students with classwork, revision, exam preparation, and subject confidence.
- Plan lessons according to student ability and learning needs.
- Track student progress and provide feedback where required.
- Create a positive, respectful, and focused learning environment.
- Work professionally with the WIC team, parents, and students.
Requirements:
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths.
- Previous teaching, tutoring, or classroom experience preferred.
- Ability to work with children and young people.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Good communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS preferred, or willingness to complete one.
- Safeguarding training preferred.
