VANRATH is working with a well established car and commercial vehicle dealership on the appointment of an Aftersales Supervisor. Working as the assistant to the Aftersales Manager, you will help run the day to day aftersales operation across service and parts, for both cars and commercial vehicles.
This is a strong opportunity for an aftersales professional ready to step up into a supervisory role, supporting the manager, leading from the front on the floor and helping keep the department running smoothly. It will suit someone who wants a clear route toward aftersales management in time.

The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the Aftersales Manager in running the day to day service and parts operation
- Deputise for the Aftersales Manager when required
- Help lead and motivate the aftersales team to hit daily targets
- Keep the customer experience high and handle queries and issues promptly
- Coordinate workshop loading and keep jobs moving efficiently
- Support parts and service coordination for both cars and commercials
- Help maintain manufacturer, compliance and health and safety standards
- Monitor day to day performance against department KPIs
- Keep records accurate and support department reporting
- Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliers
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience within an aftersales, service or parts environment in a franchised dealership
- Some supervisory or senior experience, or ready to step up into a first leadership role
- Good understanding of both the service and parts side, car or commercial
- Confident communicator, comfortable leading from the front
- Customer focused, with the ability to keep calm under pressure
- Knowledge of dealer management systems and FCA compliant processes
- Full driving licence
