The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operator to join our Team.
Key Responsibilities
· To operate the company’s equipment and machinery in a safe manner, complying with the company’s Health & Safety Policy, using any protective clothing and/or safety equipment provided.
· Ensuring that the material produced is of acceptable quality at all times, in-line with the online inspection procedures provided.
· Producing the company’s product as directed by the manufacturing schedule, work instructions and specifications as nominated.
· Any other reasonable duties deemed necessary in the Production process as directed by a company supervisor, Manager or Director.
About You
· Proven experience as a Machine Operator is required or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
· Basic literacy and numeracy skills are desirable
· A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques is encouraged.
· Good communication skills
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Good attention to detail
· Understanding of manual handling procedures
Hours
Your hours of work will be
12hour shifts 6am – 6pm days shift and 6pm – 6am nights shift
24/4 shift pattern, Monday – Thursday
40 hour week at basic rate
5 hours per week are paid at time and half basic rate
