Scofell Landscapes are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Landscape Operative to join our team based near Chieveley, Newbury. You will work as part of a small team delivering a variety of hard and soft landscaping tasks across different sites, helping us maintain our reputation for high‑quality workmanship.
You and the team will be responsible for the following:
- Ground preparation
- Planting shrubs and trees following site plans
- Turfing, grass seeding and creating wildflower areas
- Supporting both hard and soft landscaping projects
- Ensuring work is completed on time and to a high standard
- Following all health and safety policies and procedures
- A CSCS card is an advantage, and training may be provided for the right candidate
Key Skills & Experience
Candidates should ideally have previous experience within landscaping or a similar outdoor role and should demonstrate a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and pride in delivering high‑quality work.
- Ideally some prior landscaping experience
- A full UK driving licence is essential
- CSCS card desirable but not essential
- Good plant knowledge and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team
