- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility support
- Support clients with medication administration and health monitoring under supervision or as trained
- Maintain clear and open communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update records regularly
- Drive clients safely to appointments or outings when required, adhering to all road safety regulations
- Contribute to creating a warm, welcoming environment that promotes independence and well-being
Requirements
- Valid driving license with the ability to drive confidently and safely in various conditions
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable
- Knowledge of developing and following care plans tailored to individual needs
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with clients and team members
- Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen actively and communicate compassionately
- Ability to work flexibly across different shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed
