Monday–Friday | Rotational Shifts: 5:30am–2:00pm then 1:30pm–10:00pm
No two days are exactly the same. Working as part of our operations team, you’ll be involved in the safe and efficient movement, processing and preparation of steel products for our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:

Picking computer-generated customer orders, safely handling and lifting heavy and large items using forklift trucks and overhead cranes.

Accurately recording stock movements, usage and product identification.

Using measuring equipment to ensure products meet the required specifications.

Moving and storing stock safely and efficiently using FLTs and overhead cranes and side loaders.

Supporting the production and dispatch of customer orders, helping us deliver the right product, at the right time.

Operating saws when required, following full training and competency assessment.

Working effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team.

Maintaining consistently high standards of housekeeping, quality and Health & Safety.

Adapting to changing operational requirements and supporting colleagues wherever needed.

Working together to achieve on-time customer deliveries while never compromising on safety.

Ideally, you will have:

Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or operations environment.

A strong understanding of the importance of working safely and following Health & Safety procedures.

A flexible and positive approach to work.

A results-focused attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
-
Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklift trucks and overhead cranes would be an advantage.

The ability to read written instructions and accurately record work completed.

Good attention to detail and a commitment to getting the job right first time.

The confidence and willingness to learn new skills and develop within the role.
