Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and used correctly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise hazards
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties which may involve standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting moderate loads

The hours and days for this job are:
Tuesday, Wednesday - 5pm-7:15pm
Friday - 4pm-6:15pm
Will be going to 5 nights a week - 2 and 1/4 hours a day.
All training is provided and previous experience is NOT essential.
