Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a GRP Production Line Operative! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our production process, ensuring that products are made efficiently and to the highest quality standards. · Starting rate of £14.36/h (£34,369.45 per year) increasing to £14.94/h (£35,736.48 per year) after successful completion of 3-month probation period. Further increase to £15.57/h (£37,243.44 per year) once fully trained and competent.

· Tuesday to Friday 06:00 to 18:00 with some flexibility to do other shift patterns if required.
Applicant should be physically fit with a hands-on approach. Experience and awareness of factory environments, including forklift trucks, fume/dust extraction, and high-speed saws and manual handling. The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
· Good communicator and team player.
· Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
· Numerate and able to make accurate calculations.
· Product testing/measuring and Quality Control.
· Goods in/out duties.
· Potential for progression for the right candidate.

Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery, raw materials and equipment on the production line to ensure continuous flow of operations.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble components accurately and efficiently
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to maintain product standards
- Follow safety protocols diligently and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Assist with loading and unloading materials within the warehouse or production area
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and improve workflow
- Maintain detailed records of production activities, including quantities produced and any issues encountered
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in machinery operation.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred
- Prior assembly experience is highly desirable
- Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with inventory handling and logistics processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment
