Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role involves picking, packing, and handling skirting boards and other stock, ensuring accurate order preparation and maintaining a safe, organised warehouse. The successful candidate will play an important part in the smooth operation of our warehouse, contributing to efficient and timely deliveries.
Duties
- Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch
- Load and unload goods, including long lengths of skirting boards, safely
- Move and handle stock within the warehouse efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Assist with stock checks and basic inventory tasks
- Support other warehouse duties as required
Skills / Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, including long and bulky items
- Attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing
- Good organisational skills and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work well in a team
- MUST HAVE FORKLIFT LICENSE
Hours & Benefits
- Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
