Job Title: Maintenance Person
Location: Northbrooke House, Isle of Wight
Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday-Friday + on call
- Salary: £16.66-£18.22 dependent on experience & skill
- Enhancements: 10% for weekends
- Attendance Bonus: +75p per hour if you attend all shifts on your rota. T&Cs apply.

Supporting care, one fix at a time
We’re looking for a practical, reliable and friendly Maintenance Person to help keep our care homes safe, comfortable and running smoothly.
As part of our maintenance team, you’ll carry out day-to-day repairs, routine checks and small projects around our homes. From fixing a leaky tap to making sure the lights work, you’ll play a vital role in helping us care for others. You’ll be trusted to spot things before they become a problem — and put them right with care and attention.
This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety — and you’ll always be appreciated for what you do.

What Your Day Could Look Like
You’ll help make sure our homes are safe, comfortable and in great condition.
- Carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance
- Checking and testing equipment for safety and function
- Keeping outdoor areas tidy and clear
- Logging work done and reporting any issues or hazards
- Supporting with small refurbishment projects and upgrades
- Being a helpful and friendly presence around the home
- Be on-call for emergencies once every 6 weeks
