We have a fantastic opportunity to join a small team in supporting a young adult with Complex Care Needs in her home in Herefordshire. The role would be suitable for someone who has a caring and calm nature and a fun side. You also may be required to be flexible to cover Annual Leave and Sickness.
Please note you would need a driving license and access to your own vehicle, due to completing activities with the individual.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing
- Assist with Medication via PEG - Training will be provided
- Assisting with activities in the wider community
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
Experience:
- Previous experience as a care assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient manner
