Job Title: Night Care Assistant
Duties:
- Provide personal care and support to individuals in our home from home.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with meal preparation and assisting
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning
- Monitor and report changes in residents health or behaviour to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to care plans
- Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects or individuals if required
