Summary
We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our sign production team.
This is a hands-on role involving all aspects of sign manufacture and assembly. No previous sign industry experience is required, as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
You'll be involved in all aspects of sign manufacture, from producing traffic and commercial signage to assembling chevron kits and operating modern production equipment. Every day is different, and you'll have the opportunity to develop valuable skills while working as part of a supportive team.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of production activities, including:
- Manufacturing traffic, commercial and safety signage
- Producing and assembling chevron kits
- Operating flatbed plotters and CNC routers
- Sign assembly, finishing and quality checking
- Preparing products for despatch
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Working both independently and as part of a production team
- Following production schedules and quality standards
Skills & Experience Required
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Good computer literacy and confidence using workplace software and systems
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work accurately and pay attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative
Desirable Requirements
- Previous manufacturing, production or sign-making experience
- Forklift Truck (FLT) licence
- Experience operating machinery or production equipment
