About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Content Creator & Marketer to work with us on a freelance, project-by-project basis.
You will be responsible for producing engaging social media content from start to finish—including shooting videos, taking photos, editing content, publishing posts, and managing paid advertising or promotional campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Plan creative content for social media campaigns
- Shoot high-quality videos and photos
- Edit short-form videos, images, captions, and other content
- Publish and schedule content across relevant social media platforms
- Set up and manage paid social media ads and promotions
- Monitor performance and recommend ways to improve results
- Follow brand guidelines and meet agreed project deadlines
- Communicate clearly throughout each project
Requirements
- Previous professional experience in social media marketing and content creation
- A strong portfolio showing relevant past work
- Experience filming and editing short-form social media content
- Knowledge of platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
- Experience running paid social media ads or promotional campaigns
- Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver projects on time
- Access to suitable filming, photography, and editing equipment
Compensation
Compensation will be agreed upon for each project based on its scope, required deliverables, timeline, and the contractor’s experience.
There may be an opportunity for the right person to move into a full-time position in the future.
