Job Overview
An excellent opportunity has opened within Airtastic for a dynamic and driven Sales Representative to join our new sales team and be responsible to drive our sales across all Air-tastic activities and centers in Northern Ireland and ROI.
The Sales Representative will be responsible for managing both inbound and outbound sales activities related to our offerings for schools, youth groups, and team building packages. This role requires a proactive individual who can respond to incoming inquiries, organise group activities, send offers, up sell services, and actively pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling and following up with previous clients.
Key Responsibilities:
The new sales representative will be predominantly responsible for the sales and management of all the company’s grouppackages.
As part of your role, you will be fully trained in the call centre as the position may on occasion have the need for hybrid work between the two departments.
The role will develop in stages, to cover the full spectrum of sales tasks.
Stage 1: Inbound sales. Key objective: maximise groups sales from incoming enquiries
o Respond to all group related enquiries and ensure bookings are completed
o Process and finalise bookings onto the internal system
o Follow up on group bookings in relation to confirmation of participant numbers, add-ons, payments, etc.
o Prepare and send detailed offers to clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our services.
o Upsell additional services and products to maximize sales and enhance client experiences.
o Make recommendations of packages that would better suit the groups, using the full spectrum of activities and venues.
o Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities for accurate reporting.
o Correctly invoice the clients and follow up on payments.
o Obtain and track feedback from group leaders in relation to their experience.
o Liaise with the centres in relation to groups to organize and coordinate group activities, ensuring all client requirements are met.
o Liaise with Marketing to increase the number of enquiries
o Liaise with Accounts in relation to invoices and payments
Stage 2: Outbound sales. Key objective: boost groups sales of new groups
o Build and update databases of potential groups/companies (with the help of marketing)
o Cold calling and e-mailing to identify and engage with potential new clients
o Liaise with Marketing for supporting materials – such as automated e-mails, presentations of the offers, targeted sales campaigns, etc.
o Build a relationship with group organisers- seek feedback, send reminders for future/repeat bookings.
o Follow up with previous clients to renew interest and secure repeat business
o Book in new groups.
o Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Other general responsibilities may be included, but not limited to, supporting the call centre at busy times and holiday cover, as this is the first point of contact with our customers. This may include working weekends and Bank Holidays within reasonable needs of the business.
Requirements:
· At least one year experience in a similar role - call centre, sales or customer relations, preferably in a services-based industry (i.e. Hospitality, Leisure, Events, etc.)
· Previous experience working with till systems and internal customer relations software.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
· Excellent grasp of the English language in both oral and written communication.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent platforms.
· Minimum 18 years of age
· Minimum pass A-level in English and Mathematics or Equivalent (desirable)
