Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and organised Electrical Project Manager- Electrical department Lead to oversee electrical projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of electrical installations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. Duties
- Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and deadlines.
- Develop detailed project plans using Primavera P6, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Collaborate with civil engineers and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems with civil design using Civil 3D.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits, meetings, and reporting; adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and prepare comprehensive reports for clients and senior management.
- Oversee health and safety compliance on site, conducting risk assessments and ensuring all work adheres to relevant regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure clarity of project scope and expectations.
- Maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle for future reference and compliance purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience in managing large-scale electrical projects within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling and resource management is essential.
- Familiarity with Civil 3D software for civil design coordination is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management capabilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Prior experience in budget control, procurement processes, and client communication is preferred.

Pay: £70,000.00-£95,000.00 per year
