Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, fostering a positive, motivated work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and are prepared efficiently and consistently
- Manage food safety protocols rigorously to comply with health regulations and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment
- Coordinate daily kitchen operations including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels
- Train and mentor staff in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and hospitality best practices to enhance skills and service quality
- Ensure smooth service delivery by overseeing food serving processes and maintaining excellent guest satisfaction
Skills
- A strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting
- Exceptional team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff effectively
- Deep understanding of food safety standards and regulations to uphold the highest hygiene practices
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple priorities seamlessly
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with front-of-house teams and suppliers.
Pay: £30,500.00 per year
