Overview
Join our small team as an Assistant Buyer and play a vital role in helping us deliver our product design, manufacture and fulfilment. You will support the administration and management of our products through product design to delivery to the companies we work with. Your proactive approach will help us manage stock levels, streamline operations, and ensure seamless logistics coordination.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing our products by analysing our sales data, market trends, and supplier performance.
- Support processes with management of terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate shipments, track stock, and resolve supply chain issues.
- Make sure our purchase orders and procurement records are up to date and accurate.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality standards are met - and customers to ensure they are well supported and serviced.
Experience
- Proven experience working with Microsoft packages (including excel) and systems such salesforce is desirable.
- Familiarity with supply chain logistics and stock management practices.
- Prior experience in retail purchasing is a plus.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of procurement processes within a fast-paced environment is preferred.
