NVQ Assessor – Construction
UK-wide travel required | Full-time
We’re looking for an honest and enthusiastic NVQ Assessor with a positive, can-do attitude to join our supportive team.
The right person will have a strong background in construction, excellent industry knowledge and a genuine passion for helping people develop their skills and achieve their qualifications. Previous assessing experience is not essential—we will support the right candidate in gaining the necessary qualifications.
This role involves travelling across the UK to support and assess learners in their workplaces.
The role
- Supporting learners throughout their NVQ journey
- Providing first-class information, advice and guidance to help learners make informed decisions and achieve their goals
- Carrying out fair, thorough and timely workplace assessments
- Providing clear, constructive feedback
- Maintaining accurate assessment records and portfolios
- Building positive relationships with learners, employers and colleagues
- Ensuring all assessments meet the required quality standards
- Travelling to sites across the UK as required
What we’re looking for
- A strong practical background in the construction industry
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
- An honest, reliable and professional approach
- Genuine enthusiasm for supporting others
- Relevant assessor qualifications are welcome but not essential—we will help the right person gain them
