We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Chamber Maid to join our team. As a Chamber Maid, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean and comfortable stay by maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms and common areas. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing rooms, replenishing amenities, and providing exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Replace linens and amenities, such as towels, toiletries, and refreshments, in guest rooms.
- Inspect rooms for damages or maintenance issues and report any concerns to the appropriate department.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints regarding room cleanliness or amenities.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and staircases.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or a related field is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
