Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble components
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed to move parts or equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
- Follow safety protocols and ensure all work complies with safety standards
- Assist with emergency repairs to minimize downtime and operational disruptions
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience operating power tools safely and efficiently
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to proper techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges
Pay: From £22,000.00 per year
