Are you passionate and dedicated childcare professional, ready to take the next step in your career? Our New Milton Nursery is looking for an enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our warm, friendly and nurturing team.
As Deputy Manager, you will play a vital leadership role in supporting the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery. You’ll lead by example, inspire the team, and ensure a high standard of care and education is consistently delivered.
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine passion and love for childcare
- A strong and supportive leader, capable of motivating and guiding a team
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and child development
- Experience in a senior childcare role, ideally in a nursery setting
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above (essential)
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Nursery Manager in all aspects of nursery operations
- Lead and mentor staff to maintain a high-quality, child-focused environment
- Ensure policies, procedures, and statutory requirements are met
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider community
- Take initiative in planning, monitoring, and evaluating educational activities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£31,200.00 per year
