My Clients are a Nursing Home situated on the beautiful seafront of Dawlish who are currently looking to recruit experienced Care Assistants to join their friendly, family run Home.
Salary: £12.80 to £13.25 per hour
Location: Dawlish

The Candidate
You will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and can demonstrate that they have a caring and compassionate disposition
You will need to show respect and dignity to the people you care for and the people you work with.
You will always be looking to improve care practice, work in partnership and show good communication in your interactions with residents’, their relatives, staff and other professionals.
Main Duties
Provide all aspects of care as directed in resident Care Plans.
Assist in the serving of meals and drinks, providing support where needed
To be the ‘eyes and ears’ of senior carers and nurses and, as such, report any concerns and changes in a resident’s condition to more senior staff.
To complete all documentation as directed by senior staff.
Show good communication with residents, relatives, staff and other professionals
Will read, have an awareness of, and work within the guidelines laid down in Palm Court’s policies and procedures.
Help to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of residents, staff and visitors.
Ensure that accidents, near misses and untoward incidents are recorded and reported appropriately.
Attends all relevant staff meetings
Attends training as directed by senior staff.
Actively promotes Palm Court Nursing Home in every way.
