The Bartlett School of Architecture is seeking to appoint a full-time Research & Finance Administrator on a 1 FTE. 1 year Fixed Term untill 31st August 2027
The Bartlett School of Architecture is seeking a proactive and organised Research & Finance Administrator to support the School’s research, enterprise and finance activities. Working closely with the Research Manager, Finance Manager and senior research colleagues, you will provide administrative and financial support across research projects, funding applications and funded research activity. You will support the costing and submission of funding applications, monitor research budgets and expenditure, and provide advice to academic and research staff. You will also contribute to research assessment activities, including REF processes, research outputs and open access requirements, as well as supporting research events, meetings, visiting researchers and the School’s research-related web presence. This is an excellent opportunity to join a world-leading School of Architecture and play an important role in supporting its vibrant research environment.
We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible.
This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 40% on site.

We are looking for an experienced administrator with experience supporting research and finance functions. You will have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. You will be proactive, flexible and able to work both independently and collaboratively. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, are essential, while experience of research funding and financial management within higher education would be desirable.
