Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Domestic Electrical Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within residential properties. Duties
- Install and upgrade electrical systems in domestic properties, including lighting, sockets, switches, and appliances.
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on existing electrical installations to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of CCTV systems and other security devices.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently and safely, providing solutions that meet client requirements.
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice on electrical options and solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with current safety standards and building regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used for each project.
- Support IT-related tasks where necessary, including network cabling or system integration.
Requirements
- Proven experience in domestic electrical installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to operate various tools and equipment related to electrical work safely.
- Valid driving licence is required for travel between different job sites.
- Experience with CCTV installation, IT systems, or maintenance is desirable but not essential.
- Customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction throughout all stages of work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Pay: £24,420.00-£50,252.60 per year
