The Role
We are looking for experienced Dozer Operators to operate heavy plant safely and efficiently on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operating a dozer in accordance with site requirements and safe working practices.
- Carrying out earthworks, levelling, grading and bulk excavation works.
- Working accurately to technical drawings, site plans, levels and laser guidance systems.
- Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Performing minor routine maintenance, including greasing and topping up fluid levels where required.
- Keeping the machine clean and in a safe, well-maintained condition.
- Working closely with site management and other operatives.
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the required standard.
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience operating dozers within a construction or groundworks environment.
- Ability to work well with others and follow clear instructions.
- Good spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Experience with levelling and grading works.
- Strong understanding of site safety requirements.
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
- Ability to interpret site plans, levels and technical drawings.
- Valid CPCS or NPORS card – essential.
- Right to work in the UK without company sponsorship – essential.
