We are on the hunt for a Duty Manager to join our team at GymWorks Preston! GymWorks is a fast-growing, privately-owned fitness chain on the lookout for motivated and passionate individuals that will help grow the company.
Key Responsibilities
- To work well in a small team, creating a harmonious, fun, hard-working environment.
- Leading from the front and taking responsibility for health and safety, cleaning and maintenance of the club to ensure the highest standards are maintained at all times.
- Sales targets are met and sales activity carried out to a high standard.
- Social media management, creating posts, stories etc.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide a great experience to aid retention.
- To work closely within a team, working together to achieve company and personal goals.
- To progress towards the Assistant Manager role, with further progression into Trainee General Manager available.
- To take responsibility during the Senior Management absence.
Person Specification
- Outgoing, engaging personality with a hands-on approach to leadership and can-do, positive attitude
- Impeccable standards and a real eye for detail
- A Passion for delivering 5-star service and obsessive about operational, sales and admin standards.
- Experience within a fast paced health and fitness club environment is desired but not essential
- Experience in sales and customer service desirable
- Good digital awareness and Social media savvy
- Ambition to grow with the business.
- The ambition to be a General Manager or Personal Trainer in the near future is desired but not essential.
