About Little Apron
Little Apron is a friendly local coffee shop based in the Cemetery Junction area of East Reading. We serve traditional English breakfast, coffee, drinks, cakes, snacks in a warm, welcoming environment.
We are looking for a reliable and friendly part-time Front of House Team Member to join our team. This role is ideal for a school leaver, student, or someone looking for their first job in hospitality. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided.
The Role
You will help serve customers, prepare drinks, keep the front area tidy, and support the team during busy periods. The most important qualities are a positive attitude, reliability, willingness to learn, and confidence speaking to customers.
Main Duties
Greeting customers in a friendly and professional way
Taking customer orders at the counter
Serving drinks, cakes, snacks and light food
Helping prepare teas, coffees and other drinks after training
Clearing tables and keeping the seating area clean
Restocking cups, napkins, takeaway items and display areas
Using the till/payment system after training
Support kitchen area with washing dishes, and other tasks where needed
Following basic food hygiene and cleanliness standards
Helping create a welcoming atmosphere for customers

Hours
Part-time hours available - immediate requirements is cover for Monday and Tuesdays with more hours from September onwards.
