Hours: Average of 40.25 hours per week.
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off Days: 06:00 - 18:00

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Logistics Operative in our Building Management Services (BMS) Team at Hinkley Point C.
Working within dedicated teams, as a construction Logistics Operative you will be supporting with a variety of tasks including the following:

Installing way finding and emergency signage.

Waste management & segregation.
-
General housekeeping.
-
General receipt & stock control of consumables & equipment.
-
Providing general support to various contractors across Hinkley Point C.

General vehicle maintenance & housekeeping.
-
Ensure that HPC code of conduct is followed at all times.

What do we need from you:
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
-
A CITB Operative H&S test (to be completed before the start date).

Good communication skills.
-
The ability to understand Safe Systems of work.

To demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in unsafe conditions.

To maintain a good work ethic and routine.
-
To be able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.

Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable:
-
Experience of working within the construction Industry.

Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical Tooling and consumables.

Understanding logistics limitations and regulation.
Site Specific Information:
-
You must be able to provide a 3-year work history and required vetting process in line with HPC protocols.

You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.

The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
