Little Woodlands Children’s Day Nursery is a brand new, thoughtfully designed early years setting opening in Castle Donington this September and we are looking for passionate, caring and enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team as both Qualified Early Years Educators and Early Years Apprentices.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something truly special from the very beginning. A nursery that has been carefully designed with children, staff wellbeing and exceptional practice at its heart.
Whether you are already qualified and experienced within early years, or just beginning your journey and looking to learn through an apprenticeship, we are looking for people who genuinely love children, value relationships and want to help create a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, inspired and truly cared for every single day.
At Little Woodlands, every detail has been thoughtfully considered — from calming acoustics and specialist SEN spaces, to in-room facilities designed to make daily practice easier and more enjoyable for staff.
What the role will involve:
- Providing high-quality care and education for children
- Creating warm, nurturing and engaging learning environments
- Building strong relationships with children and families
- Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS
- Planning exciting activities and experiences tailored to children’s interests and development
- Supporting children’s routines, wellbeing and emotional security
- Working collaboratively as part of the wider nursery team
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety
- Contributing to beautiful, inspiring learning spaces
- Supporting transitions and creating positive family experiences

Qualifications & Experience:
Qualified Early Years Educators:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years essential
- Previous nursery experience essential
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
Early Years Apprentices:
- No qualifications or nursery experience required
- Just genuine passion, commitment and willingness to learn
