Full time employed positions for candidates who are able to work away aswell as work local to Yorkshire. Candidates must be team players which are looking to work for a decorating company long term, that values quality work and a positive forward thinking attitude.
The ideal candidates would be time served with motivation to provide quality workmanship on all projects, be forward thinking and self motivated. The ideal candidates would be looking to join us to take a lead role on projects where required and with also being able to work alone, the ideal candidates must be comfortable with all size commercial, industrial and residential projects.
The ideal candidates would be looking for a company to grow with and work with long term.

Essential criteria:
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in painting and decorating and a Valid BLUE CSCS Card
- Minimum 5 years working professionally as a painter and decorator
- High level of experience throughout the trade
- A leader, a team player and the efficiency to work alone
- Be able to take a charge hand with taking a leading role on projects
- Willing to work away mon-friday on different projects around England
- 2 checkable references as a painter and decorator
- Driving license
- Correct work attitude and the ability to work to high standards
- Exceptional time keeping and punctuality
- Experience with commercial, industrial and residential projects
- Airless spraying- Able to set up, clean and spray with an airless sprayer to a finish
Desirble criteria:
- PASMA & IPAF license
- Wallpapering- able to hang standard wall coverings
- Fine finishing spraying using HVLP equipment
- Knowledge of other trades, such as- tape & jointing, plastering & joinery
Day to day responsibilities:
- Planning day to day works, instructing other team members on day to day tasks and reporting back to management.
- Taking charge of the painting workforce on site as a working foreman where required.
- Prepare the working area fully for works.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, ensuring full and proper preparation techniques are followed.
- Applying paint using various tools and methods, including spray guns.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Finishing jobs to the specification and timescale provided by management.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management and clients daily to ensure the best service possible.
- Drive to different job sites as required, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Conducting site visits and audits with providing key information on project progress.
