Job Overview
I am looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Assistant to join my home-based childcare setting. You will work alongside me to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, play and thrive.
Duties
- Assist with the supervision and care of children in a safe and supportive setting
- Engage children in educational activities, play, and creative exercises to promote learning and development
- Support snack times, nap routines, and hygiene practices in accordance with established guidelines
- Communicate effectively with children to encourage positive behavior and social skills
- Collaborate with parents and team members to ensure each child's individual needs are met
- Help organize outings, activities, and special events that stimulate curiosity and social interaction
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude. Previous childcare experience and a Pediatric First Aid is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided for the right person. An Enhanced DBS check will be required before employment.

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
